Legal Advocate

- Full-time position
with benefits; Salary of $30,000 annually;
- Must have a minimum
of:
- Bachelor Degree or
- 4 years of successful
experience in social services.
- Computer knowledge;
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule which requires a response to our immediate service area within 45 minutes;
- Strong Direct/Open
Communication Skills (both oral and written);
- The ability to manage
multiple tasks and prioritize changing workload;
- Ability to work evenings
and weekends (as needed) to meet agency and program objectives;
- Must be able to lift/carry/move
a minimum of 40 pounds for an extended distance;
- Employment is contingent
upon positive outcomes of a criminal background check and motor
vehicle record as described by Bay Area Turning Point Policies;
- Must have a Clean
Driving Record & Valid Automobile Insurance, and at least
7 years of verifiable driving experience;
Bay Area
Turning Point job positions are significantly funded by grants.
If funding is lost or realigned in any area of the agency this position
could be changed or eliminated.
