Resident Advocate

• Full-time position with benefits; Rate of pay is $14.43 per hour;
• Must have a minimum of 2-years of experience in crisis intervention;
• Ability to work 40 hours a week with some flexibility; Which may include day time, evening and/or weekend hours.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize changing workload;
• Ability to lift/carry/move a minimum of 40 pounds for an extended distance;
• Employment is contingent upon positive outcomes of a criminal background check and motor vehicle record as described by Bay Area Turning Point Policies;
• Must be insurable with a clean driving record, valid automobile insurance, and at least 7 years of verifiable driving experience;
• The ability to make independent decisions;
• Good communication skills are a must;
• Bi-lingual and Computer skills are helpful.

Bay Area Turning Point job positions are significantly funded by grants. If funding is lost or realigned in any area of the agency this position could be changed or eliminated.
