BATP Friends Auxiliary
Bay Area Turning Point Friends Auxiliary is a membership organization
which meets monthly to promote community awareness, the mission
of the agency and fundraising activities. Projects held annually
include Candle Sales,
Holiday Market, Mother's Day Luncheon for the shelter clients, and
other entertaining fundraising activities throughout the year. Friends members also help the agency with annual fundraising events.
Members of the Friends
support the agency by staffing booths at community events, hands
on projects in the shelter, and serving as ambassadors of BATP in
their business, church and community activities. The Friends assist
other organizations with their fundraising efforts which benefit
Bay Area Turning Point. Information regarding membership and Friends
activities may be obtained by calling the agency office, 281-338-7600.

- May - (Domestic Voilence Awareness Month) 8th, Mother’s Day Brunch - St. Bernadette’s Church.
- 22nd, Annual BATP Meeting: Partners will receive invitations to attend.
- June - 11&12, Volunteer for Food Drive.
- Late June, Evening by the Pool at Bay Oaks
- July - No meeting
- August - (Back to school drive) 6th, Lunch at Bay Oaks
- September - 9th, Dinner at restaurant (TBA)
- October - 8th, Lunch at Bay Oaks - CLHS Drama performance
